Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron
The Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron is Queensland’s oldest and one of the most prestigious recreational boating clubs. It is also unique in the variety of recreational activities catered for within the one club. This web site is intended not only to provide up to date information for our existing members, but also to introduce visitors to our organisation and its facilities, and to convince them that they would feel at home among us.
The Squadron has a proud history of involvement in sailing, from the juniors in dinghies, through families enjoying the delights of relaxing on Moreton Bay, to our elite sailors competing with distinction in class championships and at international and Olympic regattas. Our Register currently includes in excess of 350 power craft of various sizes, shapes and displacements, and these members enjoy friendly competition, both within their number and against members of other clubs both in Queensland and interstate.
